The Oregon Flock & Fiber Festival, established in 1997,
is a family-friendly fiber arts festival.
With our hearts as heavy as ever, we must share the news that we've made the difficult decision to cancel the Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival for 2021.
While we trust our community of vendors and visitors to mask and respect safety protocols, ultimately we felt that the risk of gathering was still too great. A variety of factors led to our committee decision to cancel the festival, including the somber reality of rising COVID infection rates and limited medical resources in Linn County. We have also received feedback from many of you expressing concerns. We decided we wanted to do our part to limit exposure.
We were so excited to see our festival come back to life at a new
venue this year. Missing out on classes, demos, wool, and fiber camaraderie for another year is beyond disappointing, but we have faith that the next OFFF will be worth the wait. In the mean time, we will be working with vendors and teachers in the coming weeks to coordinate some live events through our social media channels. Look out for more details about how to watch and participate in OFFF from home this year!
Finally, we are in progress of refunding fees for vendors and
classes -- please be patient with us, as this may take a few weeks' time. Camping reservations must be cancelled directly with the
Linn County Expo Center.
Thank you and be well,
The OFFF Committee
