Come make a bark pouch! In this class students will use hand harvested and processed cedar bark and/or willow bark to create a small rectangular basket. Participants will have the option to add beads or cord so the basket can be worn as a necklace. This basket will be made using a combination of plaiting and twill patterning to create a lovely bark pouch. We will have time to talk about how to harvest and process the materials we are working with. Students will leave with a better understanding of the plants, increased weaving experience and a one of a kind hand woven basket.
