In this workshop we will go over a variety of methods and approaches for managing parasites in your sheep, goats and camelids, each participant will leave certified in the use of FAMACHA to identify anemia caused by parasites in their animals. Topics covered include proper use of chemical dewormers, how to identify animals that need to be treated, management decisions affecting parasitism and holistic approaches to parasite management. Ened is a veterinarian with a special interest in small ruminant medicine and is certified as a FAMACHA instructor by the American Consortium for Small Ruminant Parasite Control.
