Learn how to adjust your wheel for short staple fibers and how the long draw works best for spinning cotton sliver. Students will be spinning cotton off the seed, carding the ginned cotton into punis and then spinning the natural-colored cotton sliver. Plying, blending color and other fibers into your cotton to give unique yarns that are their own creation will be taught as well as tips for caring and using your handspun cotton yarns.
