We'll learn what affects a fleece from different breeds and husbandry through shearing, skirting and the basics of washing. And finally, in this hands-on class, you'll be more able to look at that raw wool fleece and feel more confident in assessing it and knowing what to do with it once it's yours. This class will also help beginning shepherds to grow, handle and evaluate your own wool.
